<p><b>To solder leads to a cell:</b></p>
<ul>
  <li>Rough cell tabs or ends with sandpaper</li>
  <li>Apply liquid soldering paste</li>
  <li>Tin the surface to be soldered (tinned area does not have to be big)</li>
  <li>After the solder cools, pry at it with your fingernail to verify adhesion</li>
  <li>Strip wire insulation, twist strands and tin</li>
  <li>Press soldering iron to tinned lead and cell simultaneously</li>
  <li>Allow joint to solidify undisturbed</li>
  <li>Pull on the lead to check connection</li>
</ul>
<p>Li-poly cells: Solder to front side of tabs only. It's advisable to use a heatsink. 
  SOLDER-IT aluminum soldering paste will also work. Protect tabs from excessive 
  flexing. </p>
