Dear ARC Friend,

Hope this email finds you well.

This will be a short update, as August is a holiday month for many of us. 
Next Creative Drinks will take place Wednesday 3rd September, 7-9pm at The 
Bell in Shottery.

However, Brook Arts Hub is still buzzing with workshops, activities and 
events. We have a number of Art & Nature activities for children during 
August with the talented Lucy James and are excited to welcome Lucy Parrott 
in September, who will be running Creative Writing Workshops tailored for

We also have a number of unique and thought-provoking events coming up:
Film: we will be screening our first feature film, the Oscar-winning A Real 
Pain, part of Live & Local's Big Picture Film Festival – Saturday 30th 
August, 4pm.
Art Talk: artist, author, wellbeing expert and TV presenter Sally Bee will 
give a very personal Art Talk: Brushstrokes of Recovery: How I Mended what 
Medicine Couldn't – Thursday 4th September, 7pm.
Live Show: actor Ursula Mohan will perform Flo Smith - Now & Then, written 
and directed by Christopher Saul and produced by Giles Shenton, in our 
popular pop-up theatre space – Friday 19th September, 7.30pm.

Brook Arts Hub continues to run a wealth of affordable and accessible 
classes, workshops and wellbeing sessions. This coming Thursday, 7th August 
at 6.30pm, we welcome artist and architect Timmy Aziz, who will be running 
weekly Life Drawing sessions (with a live model). These sessions can be 
booked individually from September onwards.
