All the participating banks are part of the Current Account Switch Service - this is a free service that makes switching bank accounts quick and simple. If you choose to switch, in most cases your new bank will process the switch for you through this service, which will transfer your balance, Direct Debits and standing orders, and close your old account when the switch is complete.
