** How a life-changing diagnosis changed this founder's outlook

Why founders decide to startup is different for everyone. For some=2C they=
've had an idea for a business or product which they spot an opportunity t=
o pursue. Others have a creative project which they want to grow into some=
thing bigger=2C or fall into it more naturally.
Many budding founders relish the freedom and autonomy which comes with bei=
ng your own boss.
For Jasmin Thomas=2C founder of Ohana=2C it was more than that. It was dee=
ply personal. And for this founder=2C it wasn't always on her radar.
"It definitely wasn't in the plan =E2=80=93 I've never really had a plan b=
ecause I've always been a more 'go with the flow' kind of person. But I kn=
