Dear Pentabus,
I am an artist creating work in moving video for digital canvases. I am
currently based in Stratford upon Avon and although my work originates
from all over the world, for the past 10 years I have exclusively derived
inspiration from architecture, countryside and landscapes of area around
me. My work is all designed to be viewed on digital art frames such as the
Meural Canvas, the Canvia Digital Art Canvas and the BOE iGallery. All my
work loops seamlessly and continuous, giving the impression of a
never-ending event.

The title "It Gets Lighter From Here" interests me very much. I had
already started working on an idea that, although still unfinished, would
fit your brief perfectly. The image exists as a triptych in three portrait
panels on a conventional landscape format digital screen. In each panel
exists a different season, from Winter to the viewer's left through Spring
and then Summer in the right. An umbrella carrying actor takes the
allotted minute to transition through the frames changing form in every
frame. My work usually lasts for 5 minutes, so shortening the time leaves
very little scope to convey the necessary feelings and emotions that would
be needed to do the work justice.
