Hi Craig,
I have now taken delivery of one of your screens and I now understand the
issue with displaying moving art works. The picture quality is fantastic
but it really struggles with anything over a certain size / bitrate. It
also takes a very long time to upload larger files.
When I exhibit my work I use a Raspberry Pi 4. The Pi has no problem at
all displaying very large video files and loops instantly so there is no
gap between the end of a file and the start, making it look continuous.
Do you think you will be able to get moving images to work?
I have had a few thoughts about making work designed for your platform. I
would produce much shorter loops to reduce the file size and use much
reduced image complexity to lessen the bitrate.
Please let me know if this is of interest to you.
I am very aware that other platforms similar to yours are making big
advances into moving images, I will do all I can to help you in that area.
