Hi Penny,
Sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you.
Please could you pencil in the first available Friday in July. If you could
let me know what date that would be and I will build my schedule around it.
If it helps for your insurance, I can assure them that if I did use a
candle, it would be monitored at all times, I could even have a fire
extinguisher close at hand and no alcohol will be consumed (in my experience
drink is always the most important problem when consumed at parties and
other functions). As candles feature strongly in my work, it would be a
shame to not use them.

I am not sure if you received my email with regard to some potential dates
for you to hire the hall. Are there any dates you would like me to pencil
in for you?
Following our AGM a couple of nights ago, we are following up with our
insurance company as to exactly what the implications are with regard to
candles, as obviously this is something that is used for birthday parties as
well so we want to be completely clear about it.
I will keep you up to date and look forward to hearing from you.

I have now had a chance to chat to our Chairman and we would really like to
be able to accommodate your request at the hall.
The booking would have to fit in over a period of time when there are no
other bookings.
We would also be unable to insure your equipment whilst it is in the hall,
but if you have personal insurance that should not be a problem.
We have good black out blinds, enough electrical power and good parking
facilities.
Would you like me to show you around the hall and we can then discuss dates
and cost depending on how many days you would like to book it for? If so,
please can you let me know when you would be available and we can arrange
something.
