Dear Rory,
I hope you are well.
I have just returned from a very interesting meeting with the senior
management team of the Malvern Theatres complex in Great Malvern,
Worcestershire.
They contacted me because, as a digital artist, they needed me to give
them advice on featuring moving image art in their foyer and front of
house areas as part of their �20m refurbishment project.
They envisage that their information screens, possibly as many as 30,
would double as displays for art when not giving out notices for the
audience.
There also seems to be an ambition to host private views of digital art
and possibly to give over some of the display screens, during specific
periods of the year, for digital exhibitions.
The screens will be a mixture of portrait and landscape, 4k but running
the information in 1080 and all linked by a remotely accessible optical
fibre network.
Naturally I was very excited and immediately said �You need to talk to
Rory Blain�.
They are very interested in being �cutting edge� and in being possible the
first theatre in the world to be doing something like this.
Can I leave you to contact them? Sedition would be the perfect pipeline
for like this.
