Here are the descriptions of collections and individual works.
Please feel free to change, edit, turn into your own house style as you see
fit, I trust you implicitly to be a better writer than I am.
I have put them in order of publishing and if possible, the order they
should appear on your site.
I have assumed the following:
Fire are my daughters. -12th January
Thrice-crowned Queen of Night. -14th January
Under these windows. -16th January
Don’t worry if I have the dates wrong but the order is important to me.

Here is the text:
Fire are my daughters.
Ostensibly a study of three moving still lifes of the Japandi Twisted Hazel
tree. But looking into the distance, the true subject of this triptych is
the exploration of King Lear’s daughters as written by William Shakespeare.
What it means for those three characters when interpreted by different
actresses. Their journeys, all defined by love, betrayal and tragic
misjudgement is timeless as the women steadily move stage right to their
tragic ends.
As with all Roff’s work, every sequence loops seamlessly to create a
constant, endless cycle.
Goneril
Lear’s eldest daughter walks the mountains of her share of the kingdom. Her
treachery is exposed. She faces disgrace after her schemes collapse; her end
is inevitable.
“Edmund: Exasperates, makes mad her sister Goneril;”
Regan
Lear’s middle daughter gained her land through dishonest flattery. She waits
for Edmund and her sad fate at the hand of her sister.
“Duke of Cornwall: Upon the dunghill. Regan, I bleed apace.”
Cordelia
Lear’s youngest and favourite daughter moves across a foreign landscape. Her
innocence and refusal to exaggerate her love leads her to her inevitable
destruction.
“Cordelia: Cordelia leaves you. I know you what you are;”
Thrice-crowned Queen of Night.
A collection of three vertical artworks that, as always, loop continuously.
The epithet “thrice-crowned queen of night” in the play As You Like It,
alludes to the goddess Hecate, a figure traditionally associated with
witchcraft, lunar cycles, and the chthonic realm. Her presence gestures
toward the liminal spaces between nature and the occult, thereby reinforcing
the play’s preoccupation with metamorphosis, disguise, and the mutable
forces that govern human experience. The shared thunderous sky traps the
actress in a watching, waiting time-loop. The use of a real actress brings
the narration to life in a way that Artificial Intelligence never could.
Sarah’s performance is exceptional.
As with all Roff’s work, every sequence loops seamlessly to create a
constant, endless cycle.
For this night’s watching
Sarah sits and waits; the fire is too far off to gain warmth. The candelabra
can’t possibly help her see into the darkness.
I know the sun is fire
The early warm light of the day illuminates a veiled person. She stands
guard over her liminal domain.
by her own light
Illuminated solely by the glow of a single oil lamp, the atmosphere acquires
an aura of the arcane, as the wind itself seems to transmit intimations of
the mystical. Within this charged environment, Sarah’s performance is
exceptional, distinguished by its capacity to embody and project the
ineffable qualities of the scene
Under these windows.
The paradox that stillness is never truly still, will always be as powerful
as frenetic motion. This collection explores the tension created by
repetitive and small movements in order to evoke a radical act of attention.
Once again, the continuous and perpetual loop traps the scene in a timeless
state. Sarah’s performance captivates and focuses all three scenes.
As with all Roff’s work, every sequence loops seamlessly to create a
constant, endless cycle.
Till supper-time alone
A solitary meal awaits. A single maid waits in her place; the place is not
set for her. Maybe we are watching the moments before Vilhelm Hammershøi
sits down to supper.
Comest thou from the bridge
A floral beacon signals a welcome for a much longed for homecoming. She sits
and watches and waits as the people from the town cross the bridge as the
day draws to a close.
Trust not my reading
By the light she reads a letter. By her right she means it secret. Evening
has fallen. Should we intrude on her solitude, should we turn away and leave
her to her secrets.

Hecate, a figure traditionally associated with witchcraft, lunar cycles, =
and the chthonic realm. Her presence gestures toward the liminal spaces =
between nature and the occult, thereby reinforcing the play=E2=80=99s =
preoccupation with metamorphosis, disguise, and the mutable forces that =
govern human experience. The shared thunderous sky traps the actress in =
a watching, waiting time-loop. The use of a real actress brings the =
narration to life in a way that Artificial Intelligence never could. =
