Ghost Zone is a new collection of five artworks by Brit Bunkley. The =E2=
=80=9Czone=E2=80=9D refers to both the utopian antipodean "Godzone=E2=80=
=9D=2C an historical colloquial term for New Zealand=2C and to the dystopi=
an=2C magical =E2=80=9Czone=E2=80=9D of Tarkovsky=E2=80=99s Stalker (1979)=
=2E From the lush green forests of New Zealand to the arid ghost towns of so=
uth-eastern California=2C the collection explores both magnificent nature=
and abandoned ruins whose traces spark the intersection of nature and cul=
ture.
