Tesla Award
The TESLA Award is now open for submissions for new and innovative proposals
in the field of transdisciplinary and intermedia arts on the theme of water
in cities. Led by MOTA in Ljubljana, Slovenia, TESLA Award partners with
Artbat Festival in Almaty, Kazakhstan and Bellastock in Paris, France to
support two public space works to be installed in Almaty. The works will be
presented at the opening of ArtBat festival on 24 August 2018. Winning
proposals will be awarded a €4,000 production grant and travel to Artbat
Festival. Deadline for submissions: 1 July 2018

Space Studios
SPACE Studios in London has an open call for their next Art + Tech Residency
exploring themse of AI and machine learning. The programme titled Future
Human explores the intersection between artificial intelligence and
humanity, posing questions about what it means to be human and a citizen in
the digital age. They are seeking artists who are already pushing the
boundaries of technological innovation within their practice and whose work
engages with these critical ideas and themes. SPACE Studios offers 24-hour
access to a studio in London, a stipend of £1,800 and a production allowance
of £500. Deadline for submissions: 17 July 2018, 10am GMT.

London Art Festival
The 10th London Art Festival invites artists to submit works exploring ideas
around freedom. The exhibition takes place from 1-13 October 2018 across
three venues including La Galleria Pall Mall, The Royal Opera and Arcade
Gallery London. Deadline for entries is 31 July 2018.

The Space
The Space are calling for UK arts and cultural organisations to submit
proposals for digital commissions for their ‘Capture’ and ‘Low-Cost R&D’
strands. The Capture strand is run in partnership with the BBC to capture,
broadcast and digitally distribute live arts performances and events for
audiences, showcasing and increasing the reach of existing activities. The
Low-Cost strand is funded by Arts Council England (ACE) and aims to increase
the digital reach of arts and cultural organisations by increasing the
impact of existing work or collections with a particular interest in
applications from diverse-led organisations and/or projects. Deadline for
applications is midday, 29 June 2018.
