<p>Further to our earlier conversation, I was wondering if you have an updat=
e to the situation with me being Furloughed?</p>

<p>Unfortunately, the Agency have not received confirmation of my 6 month co=
ntract extension, however, received confirmation today that my contract had f=
inished with effect from today which would be in line with my original contr=
act end date.</p>

<p>This leaves me in a very uncertain and challenging situation as without c=
onfirmation of my contract extension with JLR, with effect from tomorrow I w=
ill be deemed as unemployed and I will not be able to claim Furlough status.=

with me only having 2 days pay for this week and no income going forwards.&=
nbsp; I would really appreciate receiving confirmation of my extension that w=
as agreed a month ago, which would enable Furlough status to be applied for.=

On 20 March 2020, the Chancellor set out a package of temporary support for b=
usinesses through this period of disruption caused by COVID-19. The support i=
ncludes the introduction of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.

With substantially less cash coming in and the expected significant and imme=
diate reduction in vehicle sales and revenue we need to take extraordinary a=
ction to ensure we minimise cash outflow. We therefore need to utilise the C=
oronavirus Job Retention Scheme.
