It=E2=80=99s Wednesday morning. What=E2=80=99s the scene at your workplace?
Our office is in the back of Weezie=E2=80=99s. The amie, RODEN and Weezie=
=E2=80=99s teams all work together in one space, which we love. When the of=
fice team arrives at 830a, we get a big pot of coffee on with our Moccamast=
er (Allpress beans!) and get to work on our laptops. I love the mornings; t=
hey=E2=80=99re when I get the most done.
What=E2=80=99s on the agenda for today?
I=E2=80=99m working on two big projects for RODEN clients: a breakfast even=
t that we=E2=80=99re producing in Copenhagen for Fashion Week, and one for =
a London-based client in August, which will be hosted at Weezie=E2=80=99s.
Any restaurant plans today, tonight, this weekend?
I=E2=80=99m not in London this week, but last week I had a friend in town f=
rom America and we did dinner at our local Italian in Brook Green: Pentolin=
a. It=E2=80=99s such a delicious hidden gem, with a gorgeous terrace for su=
mmer. The food is amazing. We then did Weezie=E2=80=99s (of course!) for di=
nner the second night, and on Friday morning we went to Notting Hill for pa=
stries at Layla, then The Pelican for lunch.
How about a little leisure or culture?
We=E2=80=99re currently in Beer, Devon, with my husband=E2=80=99s family. W=
e love it here. His family comes down every summer for what they call =E2=
=80=98cricket week=E2=80=99 =E2=80=93 my husband has been doing it for 37 y=
ears, he hasn=E2=80=99t missed one! It=E2=80=99s lots of playing and watchi=
ng cricket, and lots of beach time.
Any weekend getaways?
We just spent 48 hours in Mallorca for a wedding. We stayed at Can Aul=C3=

len=C3=A7a, the perfect base. You=E2=80=99re so close to walk to all of the=
restaurants and shops, but it feels like an escape from people with the be=
autiful garden and pool. The breakfasts are delicious. We loved Can Mir 45 =
in Pollen=C3=A7a for tapas and the most authentic feel.
What was your last great holiday?
My husband and I went to Masseria Moroseta [ https://substack.com/redirect/=

94WhF9hVTcrDRYs6QySyrNvyrpKXA ] in Puglia for three nights in April. We sta=
yed there five years ago and absolutely loved it, and it was so nice to be =
back again. The food is what really makes it; everything that comes out of =
that kitchen is incredible. We love Cala Sata for swimming and people-watch=
ing, and you can=E2=80=99t miss a meal at Il Cortiletto. Definitely go to T=
erre di San Vito for a wine tasting and a visit to their gorgeous grounds, =
and don=E2=80=99t miss Grottaglie if you love ceramics =E2=80=93 so many am=
azing studios are in a small cluster here. Start with one of the Fasano one=
s and meander around to the others.
