nds, is putting Maldivian cuisine centre stage with KANDU, a new contempora=
ry dining concept that opened in June 2026. Its Modern Dhivehi Ocean-to-Tab=
le menu draws on family recipes, regional traditions and ingredients includ=
ing tuna, coconut, breadfruit, reef fish and native herbs, with each course=
inspired by a different atoll. Led by Chef de Cuisine Abdulla Rifzan, KAND=
