Position Description:

Skills Required:
While this is primarily a journalistic role, you¿ll also help us to
organise events, develop digital communications content and maximise
advocacy across a range of social platforms. Your work will be vital to
ensuring that we fully involve and inform our colleagues across Jaguar
Land Rover. Whether your experience has been gained with a commercial
publication or in a corporate communications capacity, you should be
able to write in a variety of styles. You¿ll have a keen eye for news
stories that will make our global workforce feel proud to work for us.
Most of all you will genuinely love what you do, and to have fun doing

and can't wait to meet! The role is for an initial six month period, but
has the potential to go permanent. We are keen to hear from people who
are interested in either interim or interim to permanent positions. The
role sits within the central Internal Communications team, which is part
of Corporate Affairs and ultimately the wider PR team of 100 plus
communications professionals. For someone with a can ¿ do attitude the
only limit to the opportunities is what you want to get out of working
for Jaguar Land Rover.
Skills Preferred:
Key responsibilities: 1)Be the single point of contact for people in
the business to communicate events, policies and a wide range of
business critical communications internally. 2)Working with the Content
Editor, ensure a timely and prioritised cascade of information, to
optimise the effectiveness of internal communications. 3)Collate, draft
and edit the weekly global staff e-newsletter, which rounds up our key
news from around the world each week. Work closely with colleagues
across PR to ensure the excitement of our external PR activity is shared
with the wider business. 4)Ensure the standard of writing in our
communications is engaging, on brand and always correct. 5)Be the
gatekeeper for internal communications, a critical friend, who ensures
the right communications go out to the appropriate audience at the right
time. 6)Introduce a streamlined email process, including working with IT
to select and to implement a content management system which will ensure
our communications are professional and can be measured effectively.
Experience Required:
This is an entry-level position that is ideally suited to someone fresh
out of university or college with an English, PR or Journalism
qualification, looking to take that first step into a busy
communications environment.
Experience Preferred:
Essential: 1)Two or more years of related communications, marketing or
journalism experience 2)Experience with interconnected communications
projects / campaigns 3)Experience in creating all types of media to a

Education Required:
Essential University Degree plus professional training / work
