Position Description:
Business Partner ¿ International Purchasing Operations (IPO)¿. IPO is a 
team within the Purchasing Transformation & Operations (PT&O) 
directorate. The job holder will work closely with the 
Internationalisation Purchasing and other country project teams for 
specific regional feasibility and implementation activities. The work 
will help ensure JLR Purchasing has the capability to deliver its global 
business expansion objectives. In addition, the Business Partner takes 
the lead in driving for suitable purchasing processes and procedures for 
the overseas operation. This requires an understanding of the country's 
regulatory environment, its customs, duty and tax arrangements and the 
environmental standards JLR and its supplier base must comply with. This 
role provides JLR with a strong linkage to other functional areas (like 
JLR Customs) to ensure JLR has seamless and compliant business practices 
in place. Other smaller projects may be assigned to the individual that 
improve the overall global purchasing / supply chain process situation. 
Many of these will require engagement with other functional areas within 
JLR.
Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED: 1)Project Management skills / expertise 2)Strong 
inter-personal and communication skills 3)Able to storyboard 
presentations and create convincing Powerpoint presentations
Skills Preferred:

Experience Required:
Running projects - setting and achieving workload and timing targets. 
Providing succinct reports on status and milestones. Ideally within a 
manufacturing / automotive environment.
Experience Preferred:
A supply chain or procurement degree / post-grad qualification would be 
desirable.
