It is an urgent requirement, based in London office of Inmotion – a 
100% owned subsidiary of JLR. They are based in Shoreditch (Curtain 
road). They will be moving to offices a short walk from Kings X station 
at some point.
There are 25 people based there, the roles are broad, the teams are 
small. Inmotion is a venture capital investment organisation for early 
stage companies in the automotive, mobility and technical area but also 
are building businesses from within and are responsible for their 
activities.

The role is management accounting – MUST be qualified – ACA, ACCA, 
CIMA. There is a lot of day to day stuff –eg. paying suppliers, raising 
invoices, payroll but also there is project accounting in the role too. 
Need to have experience of SAP, the subsidiaries use Zero so some use of 
this is useful too. It is a broad role with breadth that is interesting 
for the right individual. Role would suit someone traditionally trained 
moving to the commercial side. The accounting is quite technical but 
there is a lot of volume and it is a big job. Knowledge of HFM 
consolidation tool is useful but not essential.

Inmotion is building the business from bottom up, they are still going 
through the final stages of implementation so there will be an element 
of creating processes to the job and providing training to other team 
members. They need someone ASAP so will run with a contractor but would 
ideally like someone temp to perm. IVs – telephone initially then face 
to face. it is an opportunity to be part of a company that is growing 
fast, that is operating in the digital economy.
