I hope you are keeping well and did not get blown away at the weekend .I lo=
st 4 fences in the garden. First of all I want to thank you for all of your=
 help.


I am giving you some feedback from the working interview, and with some ans=
wers to your questions.Yes I am extremely interested in the position.How ma=
ny people attend a full on working interview for 9 hours and not ask for an=
y payment? So I think I am very interested.
Your trial hours will be paid for , Dan has agreed this.
When I returned home on Thursday I was very excited about the position and =
talked to you on the telephone.I know you were very excited about the oppor=
tunity of working with UBT , i believe you would be very happy there and th=
ey are growing .

I was disappointed not to hear from anybody until I made contact the next d=
ay to Dan to thank him. Andrew indicated he would be in touch later. I rece=
ived a call from Andrew and a tex from Dan the next day inviting me to go b=
ack as soon as I sent this.After speaking to you on Thursday morning with y=
our feedback i called Dan and left a vm and also emailed him . As you know =
he was in a meeting so he asked if we could speak on Friday . Apologies but=
 i didn't speak to him until lunch time which was when you had started work=
 , i left you a vm.=20

I made the offer to go in on Tuesday to Dan at 12,00, when I saw him on Thu=
rsday briefly. I was running around serving lunch and I told them I would i=
nform you. This is ,my only day of for weeks and I wanted to totally unders=
tand the Food and Beverage Operations at UBT.Dan confirmed this to me on Fr=
iday when i spoke to him

Whilst I was at UBT, I watched,observed and used my skills to do the necess=
ary jobs that I was asked to do by Andrew.It was a pleasant place to work i=
n and Andrew was kind and good at what he did.

Dan told me that he was a friend of Andrew,and he asked Andrew if he would =
help out improve the catering at UBT.Dan knew him well before this and they=
 had been friends.asked Andrew if he would help out improve the catering at=
 UBT ? i don't understand your comment=20

I made several observations whilst at the interview about Front of House Op=
erations and the kitchens.I also saw a couple of staff at UBT whom I have m=
et before in my roles over the years.
Are the observations positive ?
Andrew was pleasant,and told me about some of his work experiences,and whom=
 he had looked after.Very impressive.

However one thing that he did say that I found kind of funny was if I came =
to work at UBT, it would cost them a lot of money to take me on? Did you as=
k him why ?=20

At this point in my career, I am looking for a long term position,one which=
 is exciting,rewarding, and doing what I am best at.I was earning this kind=
 of salary 30 years ago.UBT=C2=A0 are looking for somebody to join the team=
 and grow and will be with them long term

At this point in my life I am looking for better hours,weekends of and this=
 is why you put me forward for this position.This is why i thought the job =
suits you as it will give you set hours and weekends off !

Dan did tell me a little about holiday,pension,bank holidays but we did not=
 touch on salary.We did not talk about parking.overtime? uniform allowance,=
 possible start day, holidays.I know i told you about the salary originally=
 when you popped into the office , Dan will need to discuss the whole packa=
ge with you and concerns you may have.

I will go on Tuesday at 10.00am and hopefully see Dan to talk about where w=
e go from here.Dan tells me they are busy and I am sure I will be busy help=
ing out.
Dan was really complimentary about you when we spoke and he was sorry you d=
idn't get to speak before you left , he will definitely be wanting to chat =
tomorrow.
Once again thank you Kate for your time and help. Yes I was offered the oth=
er position.Congratulations on the offer of the other job , are you still t=
hinking of taking it ?
