Increased footfall and traffic levels are expected before and after each
event, with some venues implementing local road closures to safely manage
pedestrian and vehicle movements.

A40 Westway
From 22:00 on Friday 8 until 05:00 on Monday 11 May, the A40 will be closed
to westbound traffic at the Westway Roundabout. This is while we continue to
complete further improvements on the flyover structure. A local signed
diversion route will be in place.
Drivers should follow the signed diversion route, allow more time for their
journey and check before they travel.

Saturday 9 May
Central London
From 06:00 until 22:00, a charity walking event will take place through
central London, with multiple walks starting at Eel Brook Common and
following a route from Hammersmith Bridge in the west to Tower Bridge in the
east, Wandsworth in the south and Regent's Park in the north. There will be
no road closures for the event, but an increased number of pedestrians are
expected.
Saturday 9 until Friday 15 May
Westminster
From 18:00 until 07:00 each night, Abingdon Street will be closed between
Parliament Square and Great Peter Street for the preparation of the state
and opening of Parliament.
Sunday 10 May
Southwest London
From 08:30 until 18:00, two charity walks will take place:
* A 15km walk starting at Dovehouse Green, Chelsea, and finishing at Down's
Road
* A 5km walk starting at King George's Playing Fields, Merton
Increased traffic levels and delays are expected around the event route.
Central London
From 13:00 until 15:00, Whitehall will be closed southbound from Horse
Guards Avenue for a march. Large crowds, increased traffic levels and delays
are expected.
Hampton Court
On Sunday 10 May, a 10k running event will take place along the Thames Path
on the Barge Walk side of the river and at Home Park.
Santander Cycles
The following docking stations are suspended this weekend:
* Lancaster Drive, Tower Hamlets
* Tavistock Street, West End
* New North Road, Hoxton
* Harriet Street, Knightsbridge - this will be relocated on 15 May
