Looking back to my first tasting note for this cracking white Bordeaux
earlier this year, I wrote... “Ah - now this is good!” We snapped up a

Grape: Sémillon/Sauvignon | ABV: 13%
How does the wine taste?
A very appealing blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon. Twelve months
barrel-ageing enhances the pronounced nose of white fruit and spring
blossom, with nuances of ripe apple, mango and pineapple. The palate is very
expressive with seven years maturity softening the veritable baskets of
orchard and tropical fruit. Evolves nicely in the mouth with a gently
honeyed character and notes of toast, spice and vanilla. More and more
flavours emerge with every swirl of the glass.
About the estate
Château de Fieuzal is one of the top ‘crus’ of Pessac-Léognan, tracing its
history back over 400 years. It’s earlier drinking 2nd wine ‘L’Abeille’ is
cafted with the same care and attention as the property’s Grand Vin.

Twelve months barrel-ageing enhances the pronounced nose of white =

softening the veritable baskets of orchard and tropical fruit. Evolves =
nicely in the mouth with a gently honeyed character and notes of toast, =
spice and vanilla. More and more flavours emerge with every swirl of the =
