Increased footfall and traffic levels are expected before and after each
event, with some venues implementing local road closures to safely manage
pedestrian and vehicle movements.
Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June
City of London
From 12:00 until 19:00 on Friday and from 08:00 on Saturday until 02:00 on
Sunday, extensive road closures and bus diversions will be in place while
two cycling events take place throughout City of London. One route will be a
closed circuit around Guildhall, while the other starts and finishes on
Queen Victoria Street via Threadneedle Street, Queen Street, Trump Street,
Milk Street, Gresham Street, Lothbury and Bartholomew Lane.
Saturday 13 June
Central London
From 06:00 until 17:00, a ceremonial parade will take place in the
Westminster area. Extensive road closures will be in place within St James's
Park and Green Park, and the surrounding Westminster area.
From 10:00 until 16:00, a charity walk will take place across central
London, starting and finishing at Battersea Park along a route to Tower
Bridge via the river and back. An increase in pedestrians is expected.
Sunday 14 June
Central London
From 07:00 until 13:00, Whitehall will be closed between Horse Guards Avenue
and Parliament Square for a ceremonial parade.
From 13:00 until 18:00, a cycling event will take place through central
London. Increased traffic levels are expected.
North London
From 11:00 until 14:30, a cultural procession will take place starting and
finishing on A1 Archway via Northwood Road and Langdon Park Road. Increased
traffic levels are expected.
West London
From 18:30 until 21:30, a walk with a high number of participants will take
place, starting and finishing at Silchester Road via Lancaster Road,
Ladbroke Grove, St Mark's Road, Cambridge Gardens and St Helen's Gardens.
Tuesday 16 June
North Greenwich Bus Station
From 22:00 on Tuesday 16 June until 05:00 the following morning, stops A, B
and C will be closed at North Greenwich Bus Station.
During this time, use stop F at North Greenwich Station/Millennium Way for
routes 108, 129, 188 and 422 towards Lewisham, Bexleyheath and Tottenham
Court Road.
Use stop G at North Greenwich Station/Millennium Way for routes 108, 129,
161, 180, 486, SL11 and N472 towards Stratford, Gallions Reach, Chislehurst,

A3 Tolworth Roundabout
Until late July, lane restrictions are expected to be in place on the A3 at
Tolworth Roundabout due to damage caused to the bridge parapet (safety
barrier) following a vehicle collision.
