Use local bus routes. A Southern Railway replacement bus will depart from
London Bridge at 23:58 to Streatham Hill (via Crystal Palace), and at 00:35
to East Croydon (via Norwood Junction). This is due to Network Rail
maintenance work.
DLR
Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June
No service between Bank/Tower Gateway to Canning Town and Lewisham, and
between Stratford and Canary Wharf (via Poplar)
Use Tube services or local bus routes. Rail replacement buses will run
between Westferry and Canning Town via All Saints, between Westferry and
Island Gardens via Canary Wharf, and between Canada Water Bus Station and
Lewisham via Greenwich. This is due to signal testing.
Until spring 2026
Cutty Sark station will be closed
Use nearby Greenwich station for DLR and national rail services, or local
bus routes. Greenwich station is 650 metres away via Greenwich Church Street
and Greenwich High Road, or customers can use local bus route 199. Greenwich
Pier is also a short walk away from Cutty Sark station, for access to river
services.
This is due to escalator replacement work.
Since the Silvertown Tunnel's opening on Monday 7 April, customers using pay
as you go for DLR journeys between Island Gardens and Cutty Sark/Greenwich
will have their journeys refunded for at least a year. Customers must touch
in and out at the station as usual, and the fare for the journey will be
taken as normal. A refund will then be issued to customers' cards within 14

Buses and roads
Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes over the weekend. We
expect to run a good service, but buses may be delayed, diverted or stop
short of their normal destination.
Until Sunday 22 June
Silvertown Tunnel
From 22:00 until 05:00 on weekdays and until 06:00 on weekends until Sunday
22 June, Silvertown Tunnel will experience the following overnight closures:
* Northbound only - Thursday 5 June
* Southbound only - Wednesday 18 June
* Both directions - Friday 6 to Sunday 8 June, Friday 13 to Sunday 15 June,
Friday 20 to Sunday 22 June
During the southbound-only closure, buses will be diverted via the Blackwall
Tunnel.
During the closures northbound and in both directions, bus route 129 will
operate a split service, terminating at both Canning Town and North
Greenwich, while SL4 will only run between Grove Park and North Greenwich
south of the river. Use Tube services or bus route 108 to complete your
journey across the river.
Thursday 5 June
The Oval
From 13:00 until 22:00, The Oval will host a cricket match, with start of
play at 18:00. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before
and after the match.
Lords Cricket Ground
From 18:00 until 22:00, Lords Cricket Ground will host a cricket match, with
start of play at 18:15. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are
expected before and after the match.
Thursday 5 and Saturday 7 June
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
From 17:00 until 22:30 each night, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host a
music event. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected, with
local road closures in place around the stadium.
Thursday 5 until Sunday 8 June
O2 Arena
From 18:30 until 22:30 each evening, the O2 Arena will host music and comedy
events. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and
after each event.
Friday 6 June
Whitehall
From 08:15 until 13:00, a wreath-laying service will take place at the
Cenotaph. Large crowds are expected.
London Stadium
From 18:30 until 22:30, London Stadium will host a music event. Large crowds
and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the event, with
local road closures in place around the stadium.
Friday 6 and Saturday 7 June
Emirates Stadium
From 17:00 until 22:30 on each night, Emirates Stadium will host a music
event. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and
after the event, with local road closures in place around the stadium.
Friday 6 until Sunday 8 June
Fulham
From 12:00 until 20:00 each day, a sporting event will take place at The
Hurlingham Club. Large crowds are expected.
Saturday 7 June
Central London
From 12:00 until 15:00, a march will take place from Portland Place to
Whitehall via Regent Street, Haymarket, Cockspur Street and Whitehall. There
will be full road closures along the route and large crowds are expected.
Victoria Park
From 13:00 until 23:00, a music festival will take place at Victoria Park.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June
Brockwell Park
From 13:00 until 21:00 on both days, Brockwell Park will host a music
festival. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Sunday 8 June
Central London
From 07:30 until 13:00, Whitehall will be closed for a wreath-laying
ceremony. Large crowds are expected.
From 12:00 until 16:00, a march will take place from Trafalgar Square to
Parliament Square via Whitehall. Large crowds are expected.
From 12:00 until 18:00, Trafalgar Square will host a religious festival
event. Large crowds are expected.
Enfield
From 12:00 until 19:00, a cultural event will take place at British Alevi
Federation on Great Cambridge Road. Large crowds and increased traffic
levels are expected.
