I’ve just asked James to get me some information on some of the
abbreviations. I think they may have a guide there on site. Not sure what
ODEC is but I think its to do with costs. It could be organisational design
engineering / echonomic costs.?
Take no notice of any abbreviations on the net. I don’t think its any of
them.

Pretty much the person who looks at warranty issues and problems that have
arisen from warranty claims, supplier problems and customer problems.
He / she will investigate the causes and try to find ways of alleviating
the problems by stopping them becoming a major issue at source. D & D
detect and define team are warranty problem solvers.
PVT (Production Validation Test) making sure that the production process
that is making the parts is correct.
It could be a production process that has a flaw or errors.. Probably use
various problem solving methods (8D problem solving methods)
A production or manufacturing engineer or even a quality engineer could do
this role. Anyone with quality on their CV.
