services. Rail replacement buses will run between Westferry and Canning Town
via All Saints, between Westferry and Island Gardens, and between Canada
Water bus station and Lewisham via Cutty Sark. This is due to KeolisAmey
Docklands engineering works.
IFS Cloud Cable Car
Until Thursday 27 March
No service on the IFS Cloud Cable Car
Use alternative Tube and DLR services, or local bus routes. This is due to
annual maintenance works.
Buses and roads
Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes over the weekend. We
expect to run a good service, but buses may be delayed, diverted or stop
short of their normal destination.
Thursday 20 and Friday 21 March
Central London
From 09:00 each day, a demonstration will take place at either Westminster
Magistrates Court or Royal Courts of Justice, with a potential march through
central London afterwards. Large crowds are expected.
Thursday 20, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March
O2 Arena
From 18:30 until 22:30 each evening, the O2 Arena will host music and
sporting events. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected
before and after each event.
Friday 21 March
Wembley Stadium
On Friday, a protest march is expected to take place along Wembley High Road
prior to the football match at Wembley Stadium, which kicks off at 19:45.
Large crowds, increased traffic levels and delays are expected.
From 17:30 until 22:00, Wembley Stadium will be hosting a football match,
with kick off at 19:45. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are
expected before and after the match, with local road closures around the
stadium.
Friday 21 and Saturday 22 March
Magazine London
From 19:00 until 23:00 each evening, Magazine London will be hosting a music
event. On Saturday, the DLR will be closed between Greenwich and Canary
Wharf, and there will be no cable car service on either day. Large crowds
are expected.
Friday 21 until Monday 24 March
M25 junction 10-11 weekend closures
From 21:00 on Friday 21 until 06:00 on Monday 24 March, the M25 will be
closed in both directions between junctions 10 and 11.
If using the M25 during this time, plan ahead, consider alternative routes,
check before you travel

Saturday 22 March
Central London
From 12:00, a protest march will take place from Hyde Park Corner to Marsham
Street via Park Lane, Grosvenor Place and Victoria Street. Large crowds and
increased traffic levels are expected along the route of the march.
Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March
Westminster
From 05:00 until 19:00 each day, Whitehall will be closed between Parliament
Square and Horse Guards Avenue. From 05:00 until 12:00 each day, Parliament
Square will be closed. This is so that filming can take place.
Sunday 23 March
Central London
From 07:00 until 15:00, Cannon Street and Cannon Street station will be
closed for an emergency services exercise organised by British Transport
Police.
From 14:00 until 18:00, a protest march will take place from Marble Arch to
BBC Studios at Portland Place, with a possible counter protest in Duchess
Street. Large crowds, increased traffic levels and delays are expected.
Richmond
From 09:00 until 15:00, a half marathon will take place through Richmond and
Kingston, starting on a road-closed section in Thames Ditton. It will then
use footpaths to go through Kingston. Large crowds are expected.
Finsbury Park
From 12:00 until 18:00, a cultural event will take place in Finsbury Park.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Battersea Park
From 13:00 until 16:15, a charity 10km walk will take place within Battersea
Park. Large crowds are expected.
Until mid-June
Gallows Corner
There are a series of temporary lane closures in place at Gallows Corner
junction on the A127 Southend Arterial Road and A12 Eastern Avenue,
approaching and leaving the roundabout. This will reduce the roads from two
lanes to one.
During this period all routes will remain open, including the Gallows Corner
flyover. Temporary footway diversions will be in place.
Approach roads and local roads will be very busy during the works.
Significant queues and delays are expected. Journeys made before 07:30 and
after 19:00 may experience less disruption.
This is the first step of works to renew and strengthen the ageing Gallows
Corner flyover so the major structure can continue to serve Londoners
reliably.
From mid-June until September, Gallows Corner Junction - both roundabout and
flyover - will be closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles and buses
for flyover replacement works. There will be local diversion routes for
traffic and temporary walking route diversions in place.

The A12 will have closures and lane restrictions between 22:00 and 06:00 on
the following dates while we carry out works to improve step-free access at
Leyton station.
From Monday 31 March until Wednesday 2 April, the A12 will be closed
westbound between the Green Man interchange roundabout and Eastway junction.
From Wednesday 2 until Sunday 6 April, the A12 will be restricted to one
lane westbound for 1km west of the Green Man interchange roundabout.

Gallows Corner</h3>There are a series of temporary lane =
closures in place at Gallows Corner junction on the A127 Southend =
Arterial Road and A12 Eastern Avenue, approaching and leaving the =
roundabout. This will reduce the roads from two lanes to one. <br>

During this period all routes will remain open, =
including the Gallows Corner flyover. Temporary footway diversions will =
be in place. <br>
<br>
Approach roads and local roads will be very busy during =
the works. Significant queues and delays are expected. Journeys made =
before 07:30 and after 19:00 may experience less disruption. <br>
<br>
This is the first step of works to renew and strengthen =
the ageing Gallows Corner flyover so the major structure can continue to =
serve Londoners reliably. <br>

From mid-June until September, Gallows Corner Junction - =
both roundabout and flyover - will be closed to all traffic except =
emergency vehicles and buses for flyover replacement works. There will =
