Hi Bob,
Since the hike, the trend has been clear. A UK business audits their team
and realises half the seats are on non-billing work like admin, sourcing,
compliance and support. So they move that work to Cape Town, LATAM, the
Philippines or India at less than half the cost, and push their UK people
onto the billing side of the business.
Same headcount spend, more revenue-generating work in-country.
