Just for your benefit:
If she has �175 in her pay next week. she would pay 48.20 tax. Without it
she would pay �13.20 that�s a difference of �35
This week she paid �142 with the �175 added. Without it would be �107
that�s a difference of �35
Makes no difference.
She�s on 1257L (not emergency tax) standard tax in the uk.
We have just had a tax code change for her today which takes her off week
1. She may get a tax refund.
As for abuse she continually swore, shouted and ranted through both
conversations with us. I asked her several times what does she want me to
do? I try and do what I can within reason.
You did not say she was mad. You spoke to me and said that Shivani was
going mad at you and could I have a word.
I told her that it made no difference to her pay if she has the �175 this
week or next she still has to pay tax and it was easier for us payroll and
accounting wise to pay her this week but still she continued to shout.
I asked her again several times what she wanted to do and apologised
several times if there was any confusion.
Sue was not abusive and was actually quite calm as Shivani continued to
scream down the phone.
I tried to calm her down but that was not working. At one point I did have
to say that if she didn�t stop shouting I would put down the phone. She
continued over and over with the same things. I stated eventually that the
situation is getting pathetic and can sort it but not today as payroll is
closed. By that time she had hung up the phone.
We did not call her pathetic or mad.
As for her letter:
There is no difference in tax, she�s not on emergency tax, We don�t get
paid for over three months, so nothing has been credited to us???. If
she�s worked overtime hours then we will be paid accordingly. The issue
originally started out as an error by her, She has nothing to do with
payrate. If she has a problem she comes to us.
Nobody has verbally abused her she�s totally misunderstood the whole
context of the conversation because she wasn�t listening while shouting.
It has upset Sue and myself also. We are not here to be shouted at and
abused by these candidates.
