Emporium Update 02/12/25 🎅🏻
Good evening,
The festive period is upon us, and we have a surprisingly busy month ahead,
with some exciting news to be released soon!
Sir Bobby (pictured above) made his debut last Friday night finishing a very
promising 4th, he’s entered again on the 16th at Newcastle and the 28th back
at Southwell. His run last week was full of hope for the future, he is
certainly going to improve for that and give us all lots of fun. He will
likely need a couple more runs before the penny drops. His runs on the 16th
and 28th will make him qualify for handicap company, which is when we can
really see what he’s made of. We plan to keep him going throughout the
winter and into the turf next year, in January and February we have got the
All-Weather bonus scheme firmly in our crosshairs, with ÂŁ1m to be shared
out, it’s definitely worth giving it a good go once he’s in handicap
company! Going forward he’s going to be having a busy campaign, he’s a very
exciting horse to be involved with.
We will soon have another horse joining The Racing Emporium, we are trying
to move with the times and raise the bar for this kind of syndicate model.
We started in 2019 changing the way syndicates work, it soon became a trend
with other syndicates moving towards this style, getting more people
involved in this amazing sport, getting people into the racecourses and
trying to attract a whole new audience into the sport we love. The new horse
joining The Racing Emporium will be one to take us to the very best meetings
such as Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood, although no names can be
mentioned at the moment this horse is already proven and is ready to run in
our colours in April as we are ready to raise the bar in this model of
syndication.
We are working very closely with Seb Spencer, Seb has arguably the most
high-technology yard in the north now and within 2/3 years probably Europe.
Planning has been approved for even more changes within his complex going
ahead, it’s very exciting times for everyone involved and we can't wait for
what the future has to hold! The transition hasn’t or won’t be over night,
it’s almost like a football club, things will take time but with a clear
roadmap the rewards will come.
Crocodile Power has an entry to run at Wolverhampton on Monday the 8th of
December, he had a few things go against him in his last start at Redcar
last month. He had a couple of quiet weeks after and has really been
freshened up ahead of his return to the All-Weather. It’s undecided whether
he will be having an All-Weather campaign, but it’s more than likely he’ll
be having a holiday after his run next week. All in all, he’s in great form
and we expect him to put his running in once more.
Our Emporium 100 horse is doing very well, he’s an exceptionally
good-looking individual with a silky smooth coat. He has completed
everything we’ve asked him to so far with ease, it’s only a month away and
he will be in full training with Seb Spencer. He comes from a nice family
and he looks to be a sure winner in 2026, he’s a forward type who’ll be
ready to make his debut as a 2-year-old in the spring. Only a handful of
shares are available in this horse now, if you want to be involved please

Wotalaad has had a slight setback after he was lame on his back right foot
the other day, he got his hoof cleaned and had a poultice attached (wet
bandage), he’s walking better on it now and we are hoping it’s nothing more
than a little gravel and a bruised foot. A further update will be directly
to his owners next week on how he is doing.
Miss Unexpected is really well in herself, she has taken longer than
expected to get ready for the track. As you may have seen in the past we don’t
like to run horses if they are not ready, she’s not told us she’s ready yet
and she’s needed the time we’ve given her to physically mature into her
frame. She’s doing well though and she is another horse who’ll give us a
busy time of things in 2026, we have to remember she’s still very young and
has got years ahead of her!
Kamegogo is doing well and she will be in training in early 2026, alongside
the Emporium 100 horse (yet to be named). She’s a well-rounded type with a
little fire in her, she’s not as forward as the Emporium 100 horse with a
little more growing to do. With her family doing very well this year we are
very hopeful she’ll be a winner for us. When we ask her to do something new
she questions it more than the Emporium 100 horse but once she’s done it
once she doesn’t need showing again. That’s a natural fillies' instinct
though.
Desert Dream, is still with Seb Spencer and it’s undecided whether he should
be retired. His work has been as good as it’s ever been, he’s more
physically sound than the average two-year-old and he has attitude towards
the game is as strong as it’s ever been. I am personally happy to go down
the retirement route, he’s done us very well and even though he hasn’t won
in 2025 he has had a good season with a few runner-up placings. Seb tells me
I am mad to retire him, but after seeing his work, I can see his point. A
decision will be made before the year is over whether we hang up his reigns
or give him one last go.
The retired Chester Le Streak is happy at Cottam Grange, he’s turned out
with the Twilight Son yearling (Simon). He’s a great mentor for the young
horse who he gets turned out with and stabled next to, they get on extremely
well. He will be with us until the spring which is when he will be found a
new home, with his sweet nature, he will be a fantastic riding horse for
somebody.
The Fighting Fifth on Saturday was full of drama, like the Champion Hurdle
all over again. Constitution Hill came crashing down at the second flight
before the other big gun, The New Lion came down at the second last, the
same one as Constitution Hill before arguably the luckiest horse in racing,
Golden Ace picked up the pieces, fortune favours the brave! It’s sad to see
a horse once with the world at his mercy go down in three out of his last
four races. With retirement out of the question, I would start campaigning
Constitution Hill towards an Ascot Gold Cup in June. The Tingle Creek on
Saturday is warming up to be an exceptional race with Jonbon’s crown of the
race well and truly on the wire with the exciting Il Etait Temps and L’eau
Du Sud in the line-up for what looks to be a new and improved 2-mile chasing
division.
The WhatsApp tipping line has had a good time of things recently, a 2 point
win bet was advised on Always A Reason who won the 15:23 at Southwell at
9/2. Final Night won for us yesterday at 5/2. On Saturday we advised French
Ship at 7/2. On Friday we landed a 4/1 winning bet as-well as a strongly

Overall we’ve got a very busy December ahead with Crocodile Power and Sir
Bobby earning entries with a solid plan ahead for Sir Bobby after his very
pleasing debut last week.

<strong>Southwell</strong>. His run last week was full of hope for the =
future, he is certainly going to improve for that and give us all lots =
of fun. He will likely need a couple more runs before the penny drops. =
His runs on the <strong>16th</strong> and <strong>28th</strong> will =
make him qualify for handicap company, which is when we can really see =
what he=E2=80=99s made of. We plan to keep him going throughout the =
winter and into the turf next year, in <strong>January</strong> and =
<strong>February</strong> we have got the <strong>All-Weather bonus =
scheme</strong> firmly in our crosshairs, with <strong>=C2=A31m</strong> =
to be shared out, it=E2=80=99s definitely worth giving it a good go once =
he=E2=80=99s in handicap company! Going forward he=E2=80=99s going to be =
having a busy campaign, he=E2=80=99s a very exciting horse to be =
