Buses and roads
Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes over the weekend. We
expect to run a good service, but buses may be delayed, diverted or stop
short of their normal destination.
Thursday 13 February
Wembley Arena
From 19:00 until 22:30, Wembley Arena will host a music event. Large crowds
and increased traffic levels are expected before and after the event.
Friday 14 until Sunday 16 February
O2 Arena
From 19:00 until 23:00 each night, the O2 Arena will host a music event.
Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and after each
event.
Saturday 15 February
Central London
From 12:00 until 17:00, a protest march will take place from Whitehall to
Nine Elms. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February
ExCeL Centre
From 09:00 until 17:00 each day, the ExCeL Centre will host a motorcycle
event. Large crowds are expected.
Sunday 16 February
Hampton Court
From 07:00 until 13:00, a half-marathon will take place at Hampton Court.
Road closures will be in place during the event. Large crowds are expected.
Until Monday 17 February
A40 Westway
Every weekend until Monday 17 February, the A40 Westway will be closed
eastbound between the Westway roundabout and Marylebone Flyover. The closure
takes place at weekends only from 22:00 on Fridays to 05:00 on Mondays. This
is while we carry out critical safety improvements.

Until Sunday 2 March
Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge will be closed from 22:00 until 05:00 each night for City of
London bridge works. During the closures, bus routes 42, 78 and 343 will be
diverted or stop short of their usual destinations.
Routes 42 and 78 will serve all stops on diversion via Queen Elizabeth
Street, Tooley Street, London Bridge, King William Street and Eastcheap.
Route 343 will not serve stops on Tower Bridge Road, starting and finishing
at Queen Elizabeth Street bus stand.

Until mid-December 2025
Lambeth Bridge
Until mid-December 2025, Lambeth Bridge will be closed eastbound (towards
Lambeth) between 05:00 and 21:30 each day. Segregated cycle lanes will be in
place and westbound traffic (towards Westminster) will be unaffected.
For journeys towards Lambeth, bus routes 3, N3 and C10 will be diverted via
Vauxhall Bridge and Westminster Bridge. Bus routes 77, 87, 344 and N87 are
likely to be affected by increased levels of traffic near Lambeth Bridge.
Journeys on these routes may take longer than usual.
Pedestrians will still be able to use the bridge to cross the river during
the closures.
Use alternative river crossings. This is part of safety improvement works to
replace the unsignalised roundabouts at either end of Lambeth Bridge with
signal-controlled junctions.
Santander Cycles
The following docking stations will be closed this weekend:
* Concert Hall Approach, Waterloo
* Stonecutter Street, Holborn
* The Guildhall, Guildhall

Monday 17 February, the A40 Westway will be closed eastbound between the =
Westway roundabout and Marylebone Flyover. The closure takes place at =

Until Sunday 2 March</h2><h3 style=3D"">
Tower Bridge</h3>Tower Bridge will be closed from 22:00 =
until 05:00 each night for City of London bridge works. During the =
closures, bus routes 42, 78 and 343 will be diverted or stop short of =
their usual destinations. <br>
<br>
Routes 42 and 78 will serve all stops on diversion via =
Queen Elizabeth Street, Tooley Street, London Bridge, King William =
Street and Eastcheap. Route 343 will not serve stops on Tower Bridge =
Road, starting and finishing at Queen Elizabeth Street bus stand.<br>

<b>Lambeth Bridge</b></h3>Until mid-December =
2025, Lambeth Bridge will be closed eastbound (towards Lambeth) =
between 05:00 and 21:30 each day. Segregated cycle lanes will be in =
place and westbound traffic (towards Westminster) will be =
unaffected.<br>
<br>
For journeys towards Lambeth, bus routes 3, N3 and C10 =
will be diverted via Vauxhall Bridge and Westminster Bridge. Bus routes =
77, 87, 344 and N87 are likely to be affected by increased levels of =
traffic near Lambeth Bridge. Journeys on these routes may take longer =
than usual.<br>
<br>
Pedestrians will still be able to use the bridge to =
cross the river during the closures.<br>
<br>
Use alternative river crossings. This is part of safety =
improvement works to replace the unsignalised roundabouts at either end =
of Lambeth Bridge with signal-controlled =
