National Rail services from St Pancras International station
This weekend, there will be no East Midlands Railway (EMR) service between
St Pancras International and Luton, and no Thameslink service between West
Hampstead Thameslink and Luton.
For Luton Airport and train connections from Luton towards Bedford and EMR
destinations in the East Midlands and Yorkshire, use alternative trains from
King's Cross to Hitchin. Change there for replacement buses. There will also
be local replacement buses running between West Hampstead Thameslink,
Harpenden and Luton.

Rail replacement buses will run between Westferry and Canning Town via All
Saints, between Westferry and Island Gardens, and between Canada Water Bus
Station and Lewisham via Cutty Sark. This is due to work on the New Trains
Project.
London Trams
Saturday 5 until Friday 18 April
No service between Sandilands and New Addington
Trams will run between Wimbledon and Beckenham Junction/Elmers End.
Use local bus routes. Tram replacement buses will run between New Addington
and East Croydon. This is so that essential engineering works can be carried
out to improve the tramway.
Buses and roads
Bus journeys will be affected by the following changes over the weekend. We
expect to run a good service, but buses may be delayed, diverted or stop
short of their normal destination.
Until Sunday 6 April
A12
From 22:00 until 06:00 each night until Sunday 6 April, the A12 will be
restricted to one lane westbound for 1km west of the Green Man interchange
roundabout. This is while we carry out works to improve step-free access at
Leyton station.

From 10:00 until 17:00 each day, Olympia will host an annual event. Large
crowds are expected. On Thursday and Friday, the District line will not run
to Olympia, so customers will need to use London Overground services.
O2 Arena
From 18:30 until 22:30 each evening, the O2 Arena will host music and comedy
events. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before and
after each event.
Thursday 3 April
Stamford Bridge
From 18:30 until 23:00, Stamford Bridge will host a football match, with
kick off at 20:00. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected
before and after the match.
Friday 4 April
Victoria Embankment
From 17:00 until 21:00, a protest will take place outside New Scotland Yard.
Large crowds are expected.
Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April
City of London
From 19:00 on Friday 4 until 23:30 on Saturday 5 April, Leadenhall Street
and Appold Street will be closed for filming.
Saturday 5 April
Central London
From 12:00 until 15:30, a march will take place from Marble Arch to Downing
Street. Large crowds are expected.
Selhurst Park
From 14:00 until 18:30, Selhurst Park will host a football match, with kick
off at 15:00. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected before
and after the match.
Sunday 6 April
Central London
From 02:30 until 18:30, there will be extensive road closures across central
London for a half marathon. The route will run through Pall Mall, Strand,
Victoria Embankment, Tower Hill, City of London, back through Victoria
Embankment, Westminster Bridge and Whitehall. Large crowds and delays are
expected.
Southall
From 11:00 until 18:00, an annual religious procession will take place along
Havelock Road, King Street, The Green, South Road, Uxbridge Road, Green
Drive and Park Avenue. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are
expected.
The Royal Albert Hall
From 18:00 until 22:30, an annual awards ceremony will take place at The
Royal Albert Hall. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected
before and after the event.
Monday 7 until Wednesday 9 April
Harrow Bus Station
From 21:00 until 05:00 each night from Monday 7 until Wednesday 9 April,
Harrow Bus Station will be closed. All bus routes that stop at the bus
station will be diverted or stop short of their usual destinations. This is
because of resurfacing works on College Road.
During these closures, use the following stops:
* For routes 114, 140, 182, 183, 223, H9, H10, H11, H14, H17, H18, H19, SL9,
SL10 and N140 - use temporary stops located on Lowlands Road
* For routes 186, 258, 483 and N18 towards Brent Cross, Watford Junction,
Windmill Park and Harrow Weald - use stops L and T at Harrow Town Centre
* For routes 186, 258 and N18 towards Northwick Park Hospital, South Harrow
and Trafalgar Square - use stops J and M at Harrow Town Centre
Route 240 will not serve Harrow-on-the-Hill. Buses will start and finish at
Harrow & Wealdstone station.
Route 395 will not serve Harrow-on-the-Hill. Buses will start and finish at
South Harrow station.
