I cut a hole in my Vortex4 to remove the t-peg. It had broken inside the ti=
p after a crash and after I tried with heat to soften the epoxy (failed) I =
tried drilling it out. The drill slipped a few times through the top and 3r=
d time it happened, the hole was significant, so it was an easy decision to=
 just cut through and route it out.=20
Next up is fixing the delamination in the entire wingtip. Then glue the new=
 peg to the bottom skin. Then fill up with some epoxy and balloons or CF sc=
raps over the peg. Then sand flush, prep the surface and get a layer of sui=
table CF cloth over the top. Should end up with only few grams of material =
added (plus the 2 repairs made on the fuse and a crease near the root of th=
e wing), but it will certainly fly better than before.
