An update to employer pension contributions
Dear Mr Stainton,
We’ve released a new feature which enables you to inform us about one-off employer and employee contributions to your ii Personal Pension (SIPP) online, without completing any physical forms.
We’ll need the same information as before, but this time it’s all online, so there’s nothing to return by secure message or in the post. If you make contributions regularly, it’s now easier and quicker to do so online each time.
After you submit your request, we’ll share our bank details and a payment reference for you to give to your employer. Once they receive them, your employer will need to make a bank transfer from a business bank account for the contribution to be accepted.
How to access the new feature
You need to have an open ii SIPP to follow the steps below:

Log into your account via the website
Navigate to Cash > Add cash > Make payment
Select Other payment options
On the Employer SIPP contribution option, select 'Start contribution'
Tell us about a contribution
Tell us about the contribution type and amount
Provide details of your employer
Preview the information to ensure everything is correct
Share the ii bank details and payment reference (your account number) with your employer so they can make a bank transfer to your ii SIPP
If your employer or business is a Limited Company or Limited Liability Partnership, we’ll need the company registration number (CRN) and the Companies House office address.
Please note, contributions must come from a business bank account, and you’ll need to follow the above steps each time you make a one-off contribution.

We’ve released a new feature which enables you to inform us about one-off employer and employee contributions to your ii Personal Pension (SIPP) online, without completing any physical forms.<br>

We’ll need the same information as before, but this time it’s all online, so there’s nothing to return by secure message or in the post. If you make contributions regularly, it’s now easier and quicker to do so online each time.<br>
<br>
After you submit your request, we’ll share our bank details and a payment reference for you to give to your employer. Once they receive them, your employer will need to make a bank transfer from a business bank account for the contribution to be accepted.</td></tr><tr>
