Important points:
- Use *separate ESCs*, each rated for its own motor/prop current.
- The battery must handle the *combined current* of both systems.
- If both ESCs have BECs, usually disconnect the red wire from one ESC=
=E2=80=99s
receiver plug, so only one BEC powers the receiver.
- Calibrate both ESCs to the same throttle range.
- Use the same ESC settings: brake, timing, startup power, PWM
frequency, etc.
- Match props and motor rotation as needed.
The only rare exception is if two brushless motors are *mechanically locked
together on the same shaft* and effectively behave as one motor, but even
then it is not generally recommended with ordinary sensorless hobby ESCs.
So for a twin-motor RC aircraft, boat, car, or project: *use two ESCs, not
one ESC with two motors in parallel.*
