Dear Hyperflight
Do you stock spare Soaring Models E- Kite accessories please?
I recently purchased an E-Kite from you (#5 yellow/red) but have found durin=
g building that the supplied rudder and elevator horns in the included acces=
sory pack are mismatched, one is correct as shown in the assembly instructio=
ns (hook style) allowing removal of the pull string and hence the surface, b=
ut the second one appears to be for a different model perhaps, it is narrowe=
r at the end with a single partially drilled through hole, meaning the pull s=
tring and consequently surface will not be removable as intended.
I used a micro drill to finish the hole and was going to cut a slot in the r=
ear of the horn as a solution but feel it will be too weak and liable to bre=
ak off under tension or a slight knock.
It could have been put in the accessory pack either accidentally, as a subst=
itution, or by design?
Also grateful for your advice please, I need to order an ESC for it and wou=
ld welcome your recommendation.
I am looking at the Dualsky Summit 30 Slim, 6 volt 3 amp bec, on your websit=
e. I think I read somewhere it may not work correctly though with 2s lipos?=
My set up is 4 off KST X08H servos, Futaba Rx 8.4v compatible, Hyperflight 1=
806 motor, 6x4 prop, LiPo will be 2s.
The reason for the choice of 6 volt bec is because space and balance pending=
, I may fit a telemetry unit which is limited to 7.4 volts, unless it is bet=
ter to leave that out and go for 8.4 volt input, no bec=E2=80=A6
Thanks very much for your help, much appreciated.
Regards
Steve Triggs=
