Hi Neil

I hope you are doing well.

One of the hv70 mks servos i bought in March failed mid-flight. Fortunately
without causing damage since it was the rudder and i was able to land
safely.

Have you ever encountered such failure with these servos?
the servo is only 3 months old and the plane didnt go through any prior
crash. I also didnt notice any external wear or got any prior signals of
the failure - it just stopped working and doesnt show any signs of life
since then.

Does mks have a warranty program? I would be interested in sending back the
servo and learning more about the cause of that failure. I wouldn't like to
risk a 1000+ euro airplane with unreliable servos. I was under the
impression that mks are the best servos out there.

I wonder whether i should ask for a replacement or switch the entire set to
a different brand. What do you think?
