Hi Phil,
Thanks for the advert details, much appreciated.
Well, this isn't quite how I'd imagined my day going, but it wasn't =
completely wasted, I ended up with a very nice, fully working guitar!
The faulty pickup was caused by a dry solder joint. Sorting that and =
the erroneous wiring was a right pain. My wife tells me that I would =
have made a good surgeon, but I'm certainly not into the keyhole stuff!
Anyway, some hours later, I am now the proud possessor of a very nice =
ole geetar.
All the best,
Robin

Hi
Thanks for letting us know the gretsch arrived safely
Sorry to hear there is an issue there....
We had it on the bench here before shipping and all was working fine
Let us know how you get on, we are happy to get the guitar back here to =
look at or compensate you for the time it takes ?
Phil :)
Details of listing below & image attached
This Pre Owned Gretsch 2018 G5422TG in Snowcrest White with Gold =
Hardware is in excellent condition with barely any wear and tear. This =
Korean model has great build quality and the original owner has put a =
lot of time and effort into the modifictions. Clearly this guitar would =
suit a Chet Atkins lover but in all honesty it's just a great sounding =
guitar. The only noticeable mark on it to note is on the side of the =
body where the original pickguard mounting screwholes wouldn've been.=20
Other than this it's in excellent overall shape with barely any fret =
wear and a lovely clean neck.
We've given it a full set up and healthcheck in our workshop with fresh =
set of DR Vertias 10-46 and it's now ready to find a new home.
This guitar has had the following modifications:
- TV Jones T-Armond pickups
- CTS harness
- Bigsby B6GW plus Chet Atkins wire handle
- Chet Atkins pickguard
Build Date: 25-1-2018
Weight: 7.1lbs
Serial Number: KS17103698
Made in Korea
