Thanks for your patience with this.
I have just heard back from Martin technicians. They state 'the only
times I've seen this kind of issue with any of this range of
guitars is if there has been some form of impact or compression'.
They have fixed the issue as a gesture of good will (and have done a
great job) and have returned the guitar to us.
As they don't consider this a manufacturing defect we are unable to
issue a refund but can return the guitar to you at our expense.
Just let me know what day works for you to receive the guitar ?
