intonation issue. The pickups are often variable in terms of positioning =

and angle but if we are replacing it we can make sure that they are ok. =0D=
Weight is tricky, we could probably say that it would be within a =0D
certain range but it will totally depend on what we have in stock and =0D=
what the weight of his guitar is. In reality weight won't make much =0D
difference so it could be best to encourage him to realise this.=0D
So, in short, happy to replace but the procedure is to get the guitar =0D=
back here to assess intonation and so that we can compare for wood match =
=0D
and weight. If he wants to go ahead, mail returns@prsguitarseurope.com =0D=

My other PRS SE 594 is from the same factory and model year, it just has=0D=
a maple cap, and both pickup rings are indeed slanted, everything else=0D=
is the same.=0D

As I understood, on the guitar from my order, though both pickup rings=0D=
installed are not tilted but flat, the issue cannot be fixed by just=0D
replacing the rings, since the original rings were installed with a gap=0D=
from a neck:=0D
=0D
That is causing the pickup not to sit loosely in the cavity, but forcing=0D=
it to touch the back wall of the cavity, and it is tilting the pickup=0D
backward:=0D
=0D
I have the same situation on both neck and bridge pickups. It looks=0D
like, at the factory, the template that was used to drill the holes for=0D=
the screws was shifted before drilling.=0D
=0D
So to position the pickups correctly in the cavity without touching the=0D=
walls, the original screw holes need to be filled and re-drilled. Then=0D=
any pickup rings, flat or titled, would work fine.=0D
=0D
As I searched the internet, it is not uncommon for PRS SE (link [1])=0D
=0D
So as you see now, it is probably not a light tech work as it involves=0D=
drilling. So I wanted to explore the options that you can give me to=0D
resolve the issues.=0D

Ideally, it could be if you could do a part refund to compensate for the=0D=
fixes on my end by my guitar tech buddy.=0D

Less preferred is shipping it back to you for a refund or repair.=0D

My least preferred option is to exchange for another instrument since I=0D=

of positioning <br>and angle but if we are replacing it we can make sure =
that they are ok. <br>Weight is tricky, we could probably say that it wou=
ld be within a <br>certain range but it will totally depend on what we ha=
ve in stock and <br>what the weight of his guitar is. In reality weight w=
on't make much <br>difference so it could be best to encourage him to rea=
lise this.<br> So, in short, happy to replace but the procedure is to get=
