Dear Tim, Harriet, Phil, I am hoping you are all having a nice summer
despite the heat, and that business is going well. I wanted to ask if you
had any interest in a commission sale for two Lowdens that I have, an S32
(their small body style) and a WL25 (Wee Lowden)-both are rosewood and in
excellent shape...no dinks that I am aware of. Since I purchased the two
Atkin guitars from you all earlier this year and late last, the Lowdens
have sat on the wall, played only occasionally as a token gesture. They are
lovely, refined and beautiful sounding guitars, but the Atkins just suit me
better. I'm not certain I want to do this, but as I age I am wary of,
eventually I hope, leaving my wife too many instruments to deal with, and,
two, I think they should be played and would make someone happy. If you
think these would be attractive to one of your customers and would be
interested in such an arrangement, please do let me know. Anyway, as
always, I appreciate your help and willingness to discuss such things.
