Hi Gill,
It's good to hear from you. Sorry to hear you're still having a few
issues with your shoulder recovery. These things do take an annoying
amount of time to get strong again.
For the value of your Atkin J43 we'd offer £1300 cash or £1500 for a
trade in price. You may have seen our Atkin guitars have been very
popular recently and we are on the waiting list for replacement models.
Some due this year and some due next year now.
Regarding your Fender Jazzmaster, it's quite a difficult one to value.
We've had a little look on Reverb and the sold prices seem to vary from
anything between £4000 & £9000. The pre-owned market is strong at the
moment and things do seem to be selling quite quickly. If you're not in
a rush to move it on, it's probably best if we did this guitar on a
commission basis (we take 20%) so we can try and get you the most money
for it. Unless of course you already had a figure in mind that you would
be happy to sell it for?
Let us know your thoughts and if we can do anything to help, just let
us know. We are here till Friday this week then taking a short holiday
and back to normal hours on Tuesday 14th Sept.
Kind Regards,
Harriet, Phil & Tim
