It is a sleek all molded 3.1m giant that can fly fast like an F5B model, yet also slows down well, and with its benign flight charicteristics is a pleasure to thermal and sport fly. This is a truly high performance model for experienced r/c electric glider modelers. < ^� PLD-BAC-MINIH This great device is just in from Australia. It is indispensable for discus launched gliders (DLGs) as it combines two essential electronic gizmos into one device:
- It is a 2S LiPo regulator, reducing the voltage of a two cell (2S, 7.4V) lithium polymer battery down to the 5V required by the radio control.
- It is a low battery alarm, that buzzes insistently if the LiPo battery's voltage reduces to dangerously low levels.
Use it to reduce the weight of your DLGs and fly longer by safely replacing the NiMH receiver pack with a lighter, but higher capacity LiPo battery.c P �
BLASTER-2E< The Blaster-2e is a fabulous sexy model that is great for thermal flying from smaller spaces. With a lightweight powertrain it only weights a bit more than its DLG cousin, and gives all the fun of close-in hand-launched glider thermaling without any of the exertion!
Alternatively put in a bigger motor and you have a mini hotliner for hooligan flying and XXXX fun!
At 1.5m (59 in) span it is a good size and can be seen at a distance, but weighting as little as 360g (12.9oz) it has a very low sink rate and can thermal with the best of them. Highly recommended.

The Vigor VS-12M is an ultra thin yet very powerful servo ideal for glider wings and tails. Only 8.7mm thick, yet with a powerful 1.5kg.cm torque it is perfect for many high performance sailplanes, electric gliders, and DLGs. It is comparable to the popular SD150 class of servos, but even thinner and more powerful and with metal gears.
