on a trip to Miami for some Biofeedback treatment for
Max's Cerebral Palsy.</strong></td>

<td>I am <em>Max</em>. I am six years old. I like playing
with cars, my Action Man toys, and having meetings. I
also like playing on my computer at school and at home.
My favourite programmes are <a
href="http://www.broder.com/studio/atoz/kipstcd.html">Kid
Pix Studio</a> and <a
href="http://www.humongous.com/index.html">Freddie Fish</a>
(Oscar likes that too). I have got cerebral palsy. I
can't walk as well as other children because of it. It
isn't very good for people like me.<p>I enjoy playing
with my daddy when he has time to play. Sometimes nearly
when we are going to have dinner I interrupt daddy
because I like looking in his office. When daddy tells me
to go downstairs to have dinner I sit on the stairs
waiting for daddy to come with me. </p>
<p>I like doing lots of things with papers and keeping
lots of money.</p>

<td>I am Max's daddy, <em>Neil Stainton</em>. Born 1957,
I studied Aeronautical Engineering at university, then
worked for 9 years in my father's small Wholesale
Jewellers business before starting my own company Tailor
Made Software in 1988, and later <a
href="http://www.web-space.co.uk">Web-space</a> (with
Nick Middleton) in 1996.<p>I am very happily married to
my Mexican soulmate, Martha, who provides me with all the
love, support, stimulation, intelligence, and romance one
could dream of, and much more that any person could
expect. However life is pretty tough running one's own
business, parenting one fairly severely disabled child,
and another child that is bordering on disability, so
Martha and I need all the help we can get!</p>

<td>Born September 1992 <em>Oscar</em> is totally
guileless and very cuddly. He is wonderful with Max,
never taking advantage of Max's physical disability, and
endlessly forgiving of Max's (usually playful)
aggression. He is a loner with a very strong personality
and we think he is intelligent, but his language skills
are poor, and his social skills worse.</td>
