<p>If the carbon rod prop shaft is too big: Press the bearing onto the end of 
  the carbon rod. It will make two shiny spots on the rod because carbon rods 
  have an elliptical cross section. Sand or file along the shiny spots and eventually 
  the bearing will slip on. It's easier if you use a push tube.</p>
