<P>VARBL2 is a very light and highly efficient electronic speed controller for micro brushless motors up to 12g category.</P>

<P>First turn the transmitter ON. Then connect the VARBL2. If throttle is not at idle, the motor will not start.<br>
Beeps mean: configuration selected, signal received and ready to start. One beep for config. #1, two beeps for config. #2 and so on. Configuration # may be selected by a micro potentiometer. Use a jeweler�s screwdriver�<br>
Starting procedure is ON if propeller is stopped, so you can put the throttle very low for a short time and restart immediatly without any delay if propeller is turning.<br>
If the motor spins the wrong way, invert 2 phases. </P>
<U><P>Troubleshooting:<br>
<UL></U><LI>No beep&nbsp;: check power on, check receiver, lower throttle trim.</LI>
<LI>Stalls at full speed&nbsp;: first stop throttle immediately. Some motors require a high timing advance. Change your configuration.</LI>
<LI>Don�t overload it with too powerful motor.</LI>
<LI>Irregular speed: change your configuration, verify wiring.</LI>
<LI>If motor whistles and propeller stalled, put the throttle low and restart.</LI></UL>

<B><U><P>VARBL2 Configuration&nbsp;: <br></B></U>
A screw micro potentiometer is mounted on the circuit board.<br>
The screw position allows 5 different configurations. One side of the screw is flat, acting as a pointer (here it points to config #3). Use a jeweler�s screwdriver.</p>

Cutoff voltages are: 3.2V for 1 lipoly, 6V for 2 and 9V for 3. Below cut-off voltage, motor stops. You have to arm the ESC by moving throttle low to restart.</P></BODY>
