Dear sir / Madam
Having received a text message today with
reference to Charlie Barkway having a detention for not having a pen (when
a pen was given to him) in a lesson, I think this is a complete waste of
time and a total waste of Charlies time therefore I have told Charlie
that he will not attend this detention. This is punishment is totally
ridicules and not just, I have spoken to the reception this morning and
said that I will not accept this punishment for Charlie, as I believe this
is not justified for such a small matter. If Charlie had forgotten
important books or been disrespectful within the class etc I would totally
understand, but forgetting a pen in my opinion is not justified for such a
punishment, and would be happy to talk about another justification, for
such an issue as it seems to be.
