As part of Rackspace's effort to reduce the amount of traffic in your
ticketing list and to improve the way that we communicate with you, we've
introduced a new communications portal - the Rackspace Notification Center.
The Notification Center is available immediately and _does not require any
action on your part_.
## **About the Notification Center**
* ******We'll send you an email for each notification and alert**. However, you'll be able to control when you receive emails from the Notification Center (keep reading for more information).
* ******To view notifications and alerts in the Notification Center**, click the **Notifications** link in the top navigation.
* ******You can create a ticket from a notification** by clicking the **Reply Via Ticket** button located at the top right of every notification.
* If you're on the go you can also **view your notifications in Notification Center via the Rackspace Mobile App**.
## **What's Next**
For Rackspace Cloud customers, Cloud Server Shutdown confirmation
notifications (which will be moving out of tickets) are the first
notifications that you will see in the Notification Center. This year we will
continue to notify you as we move additional informational messages, including
those from our managed AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Azure products, out of
our ticketing system and into the Notification Center.
To customize when you receive notification emails, reach out to your Rackspace
Support team or Account Manager. In the next few months, we'll be allowing you
to control your preferences directly from the portal.
Rackspace is committed to helping you understand what is happening with your
infrastructure and your accounts while also maintaining the ticketing list as
a clean, uncluttered way to communicate important issues. By moving these
communications to the Notification Center, we will provide better service and
more efficient communication about issues that you have told us are important.
