A private release for Patron and Collectors Circle members - his first
editioned Sedition collection in nearly a decade.

Following strong collector interest in

Jang Yeonjeong, only a few works remain available. It is exactly the kind of
emerging, ambitious digital practice we want to bring to Sedition - visually
powerful, conceptually rich, and made for the medium.
You may also notice a change from us going forward. As we continue to refine
the collector experience on Sedition, new artwork launch emails will now be
prioritised for those actively collecting on the platform.
Next week, we launch a new three-piece collection by Mat Collishaw.
This will be a private release first, prioritising our Patron and Collectors
Circle tiers, before it is made available more widely. This will be the
first editioned collection by Collishaw on Sedition in nearly a decade.
The new works are slow-motion films presenting a series of unsettling,
quasi-living forms - hybrid organisms where flowers and insects appear to
have fused into unstable, emergent species. Petals stretch into membranous
wings, stems articulate like antennae, and soft botanical structures pulse
with a faint, animal-like vitality.
What emerges is not simply botanical beauty, but a speculative biology
shaped by human and technological intervention.
There are echoes of 17th-century vanitas painting - flowers as symbols of
transience, beauty, and decay - but the symbolism has shifted. These works
speak less about mortality than transformation, and the increasingly porous
boundary between organic life and human design.
Accompanied by a somber, elegiac score, the videos unfold with quiet
inevitability. Growth becomes distortion. Beauty shades into unease.
We will share private access with eligible collectors first next week.
