Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's Unstable Presence at MAC Montréal
Guest writer Greg J. Smith visits Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's new solo
exhibition, Unstable Presence, currently on display at the Musée d'art
contemporain de Montréal until 9 September. For the show, curators Lesley
Johnstone and François LeTourneux have distilled Lozano-Hemmer’s voluminous
body of work down to 21 projects that offer a cross-section of interactions,
experiences, and effects. The exhibition underscores MAC's decade plus
recognition of Lozano-Hemmer, whose work Pulse Room (2006) is part of their
