What's in a name? And how not to screw up naming your startup
We've all been there - agonising over what to call your startup or product.
How long should it be? Should the name tell you what the business does? Or
just sound cool and snappy?
It's a problem that all entrepreneurs have, so we were really interested to
read this blog about how much we should be worrying about it.
The good news is that if your name works, it will help you in the reported
2.5 minute window when an investor makes up their mind about whether to back
your business or not. Startup names are also getting shorter, with
success-creator Y Combinator favouring only two syllable names for their
startups.
Whatever you chose, remember that domain names also matter so take that into
consideration as well. Ultimately, you will know when a name is working and,
if needed, you can change it.

How to generate a stream of great content for your business’ Instagram page
We see it every day - founders with a marketing strategy of nailing
Instagram. It feels like there are hundreds of entrepreneurs sticking a few
pictures on the app and then 10,000 followers, a book deal and a shedload of
sales later - their startup is a massive success. Also, where on earth do
they manage to find so much content to post?
Sam Morgan, founder of cycling apparel brand Paria

was faced with this exact problem. He decided to find 10 brand ambassadors
through Instagram and send them each a kit with a brief of taking images of

content was then posted on across Instagram with people showcasing their new
kit, how they felt about it, how it looked, etc. But as time went by, these
ambassadors continued to wear the kit and generate more and more content for
Paria’s Instagram channel allowing them to build a pipeline of content!
