From 18 November 2025, UK company law will require all company directors to=
verify their identity.
This means that before you file your next confirmation statement, on or aft=
er 18 November, you must:
1. make sure every company director has verified their identity and got the=
ir Companies House personal code
2. include the personal code for each director in your company=E2=80=99s co=
nfirmation statement
Your confirmation statement will be rejected if you do not complete these 2=

If someone else files your confirmation statement, all directors must share=
their personal codes with them so they can include the details in your com=
