We keep on building the bridge between the real and the digital world
Artpoint's second NFT drop took place during the new edition of the "F=C3=
=AAte des Lumi=C3=A8res" in Lyon. J=C3=A9r=C3=A9mie Bellot=2C winner of th=
e 2021 edition=2C bewitched us in a feline and luminous experience. =F0=9F=
=90=B1
"Eikosis" is above all a sculptural light installation that illuminated th=
e Place de la Bourse in Lyon from December 8 to 12. J=C3=A9r=C3=A9mie Bell=
ot considers the cat to be the totem animal of the Internet=2C crossing th=
e streets at night in the physical realm as well as adorable videos and me=
mes in the digital realm.
Extending the idea of the icosahedron into the digital world=2C the Eikosi=
s sculpture has been accompanied by a series of twenty digital artworks=2C=
in the form of an NFT - the first NFT project of the F=C3=AAte des Lumi=
=C3=A8res - that culminates the cats' journey into the virtual world. The=
Eikosis cats will keep on travelling far beyond the F=C3=AAte des Lumi=C3=
=A8res itself=2C into the homes and lives of collectors who take this piec=
e home with them.
This new drop aims to create a link between the digital and the real world=
=2E It was such a success that the drop will reopen on the 22nd of December.
